Toyama

It was a nice and sunny day and we had another very good lunch - traditional japanese somen with ginger, garlic, cucumber, carrots and seaweed.

I ventured out to seek my next trail - Toyama. Entered a shrine on the way there which was just along the road. Everything seemed so quiet. Siesta on a sunday.

The map was not very clear about the route to Toyama. It was hidden right behind the residential houses. I could barely see the summit but there was a clear trail. With time and sunlight on my side, I told myself that I must reach the summit this time round. I have no excuse.

The effort was rewarding. I got a birds eye view of the Nikko City.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away

Its only 880 m and I started from 650 m. 200 m in 40 minutes to go up and 20 minutes to come down.
