Cedar Avenue

I decided to cycle down Cedar Avenue today. It doesnt look that far on the map. Once again, I was deceived by the distance on the map. It was easy going there as I was travelling downhill and rolling all the way down. It was really fun!

Stepping into the woods, I seemed to be transported to another world. It reminds me so much of Enid Blytons Faraway Tree. The trees stood dark and green, tall with thick red trunks. The Cedar trees were really beautiful and the woods really tranquil.

Beautiful woods and bike from the lodge

I have barely walked a few steps when I chanced upon an old lady and an old gentlemen. He was giving her a setsumei about the plants that were growing by the side of the Cedar trees and helping her to pluck some for dinner. He decided to plucked some for me to bring back with me. Seeing that blur look on my face, he invited me to his house so that he can cook for me and save me the trouble of cooking myself.
