Neputa symbolises the world, that the people are different but should unit as one. There were many floats and they were all beautiful designed. Some were playing the flutes, some were beating the drums, some clanging the cymbals, some were dancing. But everyone sang and dance to one fundamental beat and shouted one common chant. Everyone participated in the parade. The audience were welcomed to play the instruments or pulled the float, which many took up willingly. A spontaneous crowd.

Mickie came all the way to pick my up. I was so grateful to her. Otherwse, I wouldn't have been able to view the grand parade.
